The present disclosure relates to a communication technique for fusing a 5G communication system, for supporting a higher data transfer rate beyond a 4G system, with IoT technology, and a system therefor. The present disclosure can be applied to intelligent services (for example, smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, healthcare, digital education, retail businesses, security and safety related services, etc.) on the basis of 5G communication technology and IoT related technology. A method for transmitting and receiving a signal in a terminal of a mobile communication system according to an embodiment of the present specification comprises the steps of: receiving, from a service providing server, first information for providing a service; receiving, from the service providing server, second information for managing a session related to the provided service; and transmitting a signal to the service providing server on the basis of the first information and the second information. According to an embodiment of the present specification, when a sponsored service and a WebRTC service are provided, user convenience is improved and effective service provision is possible by interlocking information for providing a service and information for managing a session at the time of using the sponsored service and the WebRTC service.

An electronic device may comprise: a communication circuit that supports cellular communication over a terrestrial network and a non-terrestrial network; a memory that stores mapping data in which identification information of the non-terrestrial network and a service supported by the non-terrestrial network are mapped; and a communication processor. The communication processor: on the basis that the priority of the non-terrestrial network is the highest in a communication connection, searches for a cell corresponding to another network within a preset distance on the basis of a location of the electronic device; on the basis that another network having a lower priority than the non-terrestrial network is found, determines whether or not an emergency call is supported over the other network having the lower priority; and on the basis of supporting the emergency call over the other network having the lower priority, camps on the other network having the lower priority, wherein the camp-on may refer to an operation in which the electronic device monitors system information and paging information in a newly selected cell after cell reselection. An electronic device may comprise: a communication circuit that supports cellular communication over a terrestrial network and a non-terrestrial network; a memory that stores mapping data in which identification information of the non-terrestrial network and a service supported by the non-terrestrial network are mapped; and a communication processor. One embodiment of the present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for supporting satellite communication of an electronic device in a network apparatus. According to one embodiment, the network apparatus comprises a communication circuit and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor can: receive a message related to a registration request from the electronic device; if it is determined that the limited function can be provided to the electronic device, transmit, to the electronic device, through the communication circuit, a registration acceptance message related to a limited function; if a request message related to the IMS connection is received from the electronic device, transmit, to the electronic device, through the communication circuit, a rejection message related to an IMS connection on the basis of the provision of the limited function; and support a message function based on NAS of the electronic device. Other embodiments are also possible. One embodiment of the present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for supporting satellite communication of an electronic device in a network apparatus. According to one embodiment, the network apparatus comprises a communication circuit and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor can: receive a message related to a registration request from the electronic device; if it is determined that the limited function can be provided to the electronic device, transmit, to the electronic device, through the communication circuit, a registration acceptance message related to a limited function; if a request message related to the IMS connection is received from the electronic device, transmit, to the electronic device, through the communication circuit, a rejection message related to an IMS connection on the basis of the provision of the limited function; and support a message function based on NAS of the electronic device. Other embodiments are also possible.

The instructions may be configured to, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the electronic device to monitor whether a trigger requiring connection to satellite communication occurs, on the basis of identifying that the first cell is associated with the satellite communication. The instructions may be configured to, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the electronic device to perform at least one first connection operation for connection to a network based on the first cell, on the basis of identifying that the trigger has occurred. Various other embodiments are possible.
