The first network device sends to the second network device information used for establishing at least two BFD sessions and stores the information; the first network device receives information that is sent by the second network and used for establishing the at least two BFD sessions; the first network device establishes BFD sessions between at least two pairs of ports according to the stored information and the information sent by the second network device; the first network device determines whether at least one BFD session of the established BFD sessions is normal; and if at least one BFD session of the established BFD sessions is normal, the first network device determines that the aggregated link between the first network device and the second network device is available. Compared with the prior art, the problem that an error occurs in fault detection performed on an aggregated link by using BFD can be alleviated.

The encoding method comprises: encoding by the mobile terminal: symbols in a data string is read, and whenever a symbol is read, the electrical level jumps, symbols of different digits being encoded into electrical level signals having different electrical level durations; optical signal modulation and transmission: the encoded data is used to modulate an optical source, and the data is transmitted in the form of visible light. During decoding, the receiving end uses configured determination durations, and compares the durations of all read high and low electrical levels with the determination durations, thereby enabling signal decoding.
