SOLUTION: This image reading system consists of an image scanner and a personal computer(PC). The CPU of the PC executes a control program, makes the image scanner scan a reflected light image of a film located at a scanning area by a film holder (S11) and stores obtained first image data in a storing part. The storing part prestores reference data about reflected light images in the scanning area where the film holder exists. The CPU compares the first image data in the storing part with the reference data to discriminate whether the film holder exists in the scanning area in accordance with the degree of correlation (S12), specifies that an original is a film when the film holder is discriminated to exist in the scanning area (S16) and makes the image scanner scan a transmitted light image of the film (S17 and S20).

The electrophotographic recording device has a separator section located along a feed path of printing paper at a front stage of the transfer roller. At the separator section, the printing paper is dielectrically polarized to make its surface facing a photosensitive drum charged in the same polarity as that of the photosensitive drum before the printing paper is brought into contact with the photosensitive drum. The paper is separated from the photosensitive drum after the transfer process due to the electrostatic repulsion on a contact surface between the photosensitive drum and the paper.

[TAKADA NOBORU, OTSUKA KEITA, MIZUNO TSUNEO, KIYOTA KOHEI] PURPOSE:To lower running cost while maintaining a printing speed, by a construction wherein a protective layer, a resistance layer, a conductive layer and a base layer are integrated with each other to produce a current-sensitized thermal sheet which is separate from a heat-fusible ink layer. CONSTITUTION:An electrode unit 10 comprises positive and negative electrodes 10-a, 10-b. The current-sensitized thermal sheet 8 comprises the protective layer 1, the resistance layer 12, the conductive layer 3 and the base layer 4. The layer 1 is a vapor-deposited carbon film, the resistance layer 12 is formed of a material prepared by dispersing a small amount of conductive carbon in a polycarbonate, the conductive film is a vapor-deposited aluminum film, and the base layer 4 is a polyethylene terephthalate film. The layer 3, the layer 12 and the layer 1 are sequentially provided on the base layer 4 by vapor deposition or coating. The heat-fusible ink sheet 9 is produced by providing a polyamide layer 6 comprising a coloring material such as carbon black dispersed therein on a polyester film base layer 5 by roll coating. The ink sheet 9 is sandwiched between the thermal sheet 8 and a recording paper 7, and current- sensitized recording is conducted in a single stroke.

CONSTITUTION:From the audio track of a disk 1, a time base compressed audio signal is regenerated by a magnetic head 3 and written to a memory 11 after converted to a digital signal. This signal is time base expanded by the memory 11, is converted to an analog signal and taken out to an audio output terminal 21. At the time of receiving a replay command from a key swich 16, by a system controller 15, the contents of the memory 11 is read out after giving back the prescribed amount of read out address pointer of the memory 11. This read out output is defined as a replay output.
