The pressure in an actuator and therefore, the position of the clutch, is determined with the coil current of an electromagnetically operated valve (21). A model of the control system made up of the valve (21), the actuator (22) and the clutch (23) is produced, an inverse model is derived from this model and the coil current of the valve is controlled with said inverse system model.

The invention relates to a method for computer-aided localization of a mobile object using a feature-based positioning method According to the invention, a probabilistic localization of the object is performed on the basis of a reference map modeling a probabilistic distribution of features of the field when the object is positioned at the associated node for each of a plurality of prescribed nodes. The method is first initialized using a reference map, and then a plurality of positions are taken for determining measurement values of the features of the field, wherein an update of the reference map takes place after each positioning, considering the measurement values determined in the most recent positioning. The method according to the invention allows precise probabilistic positioning, wherein the reference map is also learned during the positioning of the object. This eliminates the need for calibrating the reference map prior to performing the positioning.

According to the method, a clutch with an electromagnetically operated valve controls a volume flow QA that builds up a pressure in an actuator and hereby determines the position of the clutch, with the coil current of said valve. A control deviation is determined and is used to calculate a control signal I R for the clutch position. A precontrol signal I vs which is calculated from a position setpoint value of the clutch and with which nonlinearities of the control system are compensated, is added to the control signal.

The invention relates to a position-finding method for determining the location of a mobile object. The features, for example received field strengths, of a plurality of base stations are measured, and the object position is located from these features, using a reference map. During an initialization process, a reference map is created which comprises a multiplicity of positions and the associated feature-dependent values. During use of the method, a plurality of position-finding processes are carried out, by means of each of which a measured feature-dependent value and, from this, a located position of the object, are determined using the predetermined reference map. The predetermined reference map is in each case updated for at least some of the positions found, during which updates, the feature-dependent values are each corrected by a correction term at the support points of the reference map in a predetermined area surrounding an object position. The correction term depends on the difference between the measured feature-dependent value for the respective location, and the feature-dependent value at the support point in the predetermined surrounding area.

The pressure in an actuator and thus the position of the clutch is defined using the coil current of a valve. A control model of the system to be controlled is used to generate an inverse system model for regulating the coil current of the valve. In addition, the pressure is built up in a control cylinder lying against a stop and a control signal for the position of the clutch is generated using a determined pressure value.
