METHOD OF MANUFACTURING POLYPROPYLENE FLAT CYLINDRICAL MOLDED ITEM FOR BATH LID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture efficiently stably a polypropylene flat cylindrical molded item for a bath lid by the use of polypropylene resin. SOLUTION: A dried material blend is put in an extruder to extrusion mold a flat cylindrical molded item. Next, the flat molded item is subjected to air cooling; subsequently, the flat molded item is sent to a sizing device for performing sizing thereto while being cooled indirectly, and then it is subjected to air cooling again through cooling air so as to prevent its extension. Furthermore, the flat cylindrical molded item is sent in a heating chamber to be heated and then cooled indirectly by water as not being in contact with water. While being taken off by take-off rollers, it is air-cooled, followed by cutting the flat molded item into a predetermined length by a cutter.

PURPOSE:To provide a shutter type bathtub lid which does not produces harmful and poisonous gas even if burning treatment is performed, has good properties also and is recyclable. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition comprised by mixing up 70-30 pts.wt. polypropylene resin or polystyrene resin not containing halogen and a 30-70 pts.wt. inorganic filler with each other under heating is extrusion-molded and a main body 1 which possesses a flat bottom plate part 2 extending in the longitudinal direction and forms a flat cylindrical state is formed. Then in a plurality of the main bodies 1 which are arranged in a row at fixed intervals so that their long sides do not come into contact with each other in the lateral direction, their bottom plate parts 2 are connected with each other by a joint plate 5 which is in a ribbonlike state and made of flexible synthetic resin not containing the halogen and both end opening parts 6 of the main body 1 are closed by caps 7 made of synthetic resin not containing the halogen.

There is provided an ultrasonic probe for supporting spine surgery which can execute both inspection by tactile sense and inspection by ultrasound diagnosis. A front-end component provided at a front end of an insertion unit. The front-end component comprises a metal component and a resin component, and the metal component comprises a tactile member and an anchor. The resin component comprises a cap portion and a surrounding portion. An insertion portion in the front-end component is inserted into a front end portion of a pipe. The anchor and the front end portion are in close proximity with a certain distance therebetween, such that insulation is secured and vibration transmitted from a head can be transmitted from the anchor to the pipe in a superior manner.

The dislocation row density of penetrating blade-like dislocation rows formed on the SiC epitaxial film is 10 rows/cm2 or less.

An ultrasonic probe for supporting spine surgery serving as a tissue insertion type ultrasonic probe comprises an insertion unit and an operation unit. On a front end portion of the insertion unit, a tactile member and a transducer unit are provided. The insertion unit comprises a pipe, and a sheath tube provided outside of the pipe. An FPC board serving as a line sheet is provided in the pipe. The FPC board is inserted in a rounded shape similar to a tube along an inner wall surface of the pipe. A large number of signal lines are formed on the FPC board through printing. A ground cable is provided in an inside space of the FPC board. In the operation unit, a rear end portion of the FPC board and a front end portion of another FPC board are connected by thermo compression bonding.

Medical diagnostic instruments and systems are provided that include (i) a proximal handle configured and dimensioned to permit an operator to manually grasp the instrument; (ii) an ultrasound probe including a longitudinal shaft extending distally from the handle and terminating in a distal end, and an ultrasound transducer mounted with respect to the longitudinal shaft proximate the distal end thereof, the ultrasound transducer including an array of ultrasonic energy generation elements; and (iii) a tactile feeler probe mounted with respect to the ultrasound probe, the tactile feeler probe including a longitudinal shaft mounted with respect to the longitudinal shaft of the ultrasound probe and extending distally beyond the distal end thereof, and a feeler probe tip (e.g., a ball tip) defined at a distal end of the longitudinal shaft of the tactile feeler probe. Advantageous methods for use of the disclosed instruments and systems are also provided, e.g., for detecting breaches in cortical bones in connection with pedicle screw placement.
