Filter system with back-flush arrangement to remove contaminant residues from a medium in a cyclic sequence, being novel in that the filter comprising at least two individual filter elements arranged about a common inlet chamber (I), with a non-return device (3, 4) between each of the filter inserts (5, 6) and separated from the filter inserts by an ante-chamber (II; III) having a valve controlled drainage duct (18; 19) to a sediment tank (21), that there is behind the filter inserts (5, 6) a collection chamber (IV, V) with a valve controlled outlet channel (16, 17) and which is at the same time provided with means for recycling of cleaned medium and a pressure pushing unit which is valve controlled from the inlet channel conditions (2) of the filter, and that a diferential pressure switch (11; 12) is installed across the inlet and outlet sides of the filter, connected via a control logic unit (15) with all electromagnetic, pneumatic or hydraulically operated control valves (22-27 and 38-40) and that the back flush unit together with the pressure pushing unit is provided with feedback signals to terminate the back flushing process. USE/ADVANTAGE - A stand-alone, capital and operating cost effective, renewable filter element type, back flushing filter for gases or liquids, which does not require provision of separate/additional utilities for cleaning.

CONSTITUTION:The direction of jack movement to be amended and the one- sided-pushing degree are calculated first and next, the calculated direction of jack movement is judged whether it is A type, in which it is near one of a plurality of jacks 11 of the shielding machine, or B type, in which it is near to the middle between the jacks. Next, on-off data (a) of the jacks every one- sided-pushing degree and pattern data (b) showing the numbers of applied jacks are previously decided for the A and B types respectively. And a low-hydraulic pressure pattern which is the least in the on-off operation thereof and the most in the jack members is selected among a plurality of data of the nearest one- sided-pushing degree to drive a specified jack 11. In this way, pattern data are reduced and the patterns can be promptly changed without waste of time.
